1. Scope and controller

This policy applies to the Calendar.lt app for iPhone and iPad, including its widgets. The calendar.lt website has its own website privacy policy.

2. What we do not collect

  • No account or sign-in.
  • No analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party libraries.
  • The app sends no personal data to us or to anyone else.

On the App Store the app’s privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.

3. Data on your device

Favourite names and settings are stored only on this device. The app and its widgets on the same device use them; they are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes this data.

4. The only network connection

The app works offline. Its only network connection is an optional weekly request to calendar.lt that checks whether the official list of public holidays has changed. The request carries no identifiers or cookies; like any website, the server sees your IP address. You can turn the check off in Settings › Data.

  • Request: HTTPS GET to https://calendar.lt/api/v1/holidays-for-year; the only parameter is the year.
  • Automatically: one or two requests a week; manually: when you tap “Check Now”.
  • Cookies are refused and none are sent; no identifiers are transmitted.
  • On the server, the IP address is used only in security logs, not for analytics or profiling.
  • To turn it off: Settings › Data › Check for Changes Automatically.

5. Notifications

Reminders are local notifications: the app creates and schedules them on your device, with no server involved. They are off by default; the app asks for permission only when you turn reminders on. You can turn notifications off in the app or in iOS Settings.

6. Widgets and CarPlay

Widgets show the same on-device data and never connect to the internet themselves. CarPlay shows the “Today” widget.

7. Links and e-mail

Links in the app to calendar.lt and majevski.com open in your browser, and the e-mail link opens your mail app. The rules of those websites and services apply there; for the calendar.lt website, see the website privacy policy. If you write to us, we use your message only to reply.

8. Children

The app collects no data from anyone, children included.

9. Your rights and contact

Because the app passes no personal data to us, we hold no data of yours that we could provide, correct or delete. Deleting the app deletes the data on your device.

Send questions to pagalba@majevski.com. You may also contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (ADA), A. Juozapavičiaus str. 6, Vilnius LT-09310.

10. Changes to this policy

If the way the app works changes, we will update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
